Yes , you probably want to lose weight because you're not happy with your body or how you feel , I understand. However - and this is a big however - you can not hate healthy. Corny as it sounds, you have to start to love yourself, as you are . By accepting and loving as you are now , then learn to value yourself enough to take care of you for the long term. So this year , create a short two to five minutes self-acceptance ritual you do every morning. Something as simple as telling yourself that you love your body will work , but feel free to make it even more fun to play a song ( or watching a video like this ! ) That pumps and makes you feel better or read a quote that makes you feel good .
