However, there are many ingredients used in Indian cooking that have a high nutritional value and help burn extra calories. It is wiser to include these ingredients in your daily diet, rather than going to a diet low in fat continental.

Turmeric

Turmeric is one of the basic ingredients used in most Indian dishes. Are known to have anti-cancer properties of antiseptic and healthy weight loss. A compound called curcumin present in turmeric is known to help reduce levels of leptin and insulin resistance, both of which are responsible for fat deposits. Turmeric also helps to maintain the desired blood pressure and helps to remove bad cholesterol from the body.

Garlic

Garlic, a vital ingredient of Indian cuisine is known for its medicinal properties. Allicin, a sulfur compound present in garlic have antibacterial properties. Garlic also has anti-inflammatory properties that help burn fat deposits.

Cardamom

Another Indian spice that works not only in flavor but also helps in burning calories is cardamom. This spice is full of digestive properties and helps in improving metabolic activity.

Mustard oil

Mustard oil is actually a healthy choice. Compared to other cooking oils, mustard oil has a very low quantity of saturated fats. It also has a number of other beneficial elements, such as fatty acid, linoleic acid, oleic acid, erucic acid, essential vitamins and antioxidants that help reduce cholesterol levels and maintain optimal body weight.
